Aniplex of America announced on Tuesday that it will begin streaming the television anime of author Ryo Mizuno and illustrator Miyuu's Record of Grancrest War (Grancrest Senki) light novel series on Crunchyrolland Hulu on January 5 at 11:30 a.m. EST.
The anime will premiere in Japan on Tokyo MX, Tochigi TV, Gunma TV, and BS11 on January 5. It will then air on TV Aichi on January 9, and on ABC on January 10.

Mashiro Ayano (Re:CREATORS, Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works) will perform the anime's opening theme song "starry."

Mizuno and Miyuu launched the series in 2013, and Kadokawa shipped the ninth volume on October 20. Mizuno previously wrote the Record of Lodoss War light novel series.
