Shogakukan opened a teaser website and Twitter account on Saturday that revealed that it will launch a crowdfunding campaign for an anime adaptation of Imomushi Narita's It's MY LIFE fantasy manga at the Makuake website in January. The site also reveals that the studio Creators in Pack (Love is Like a Cocktail, Kiitaro's yokai picture diary, Miss Bernard said.) will produce the anime.
The manga's story begins when Astra, a 35-year-old former head of the Imperial Knights, acquires his own house, retires early, and prepares to live a quiet domestic life. However, on the first day of Astra's retired home life, a young witch named Noa crashes into his home, and forces him to take her as a servant.
The manga launched alongside Shogakukan's Manga ONE app in December 2014. Shogakukan published the manga's eighth compiled book volume on July 19, and will ship the ninth volume on Tuesday. The series has 450,000 copies in print. Narita launched a new manga titled Killing Me/Killing You alongside Kadokawa's new Bessatsu Dragon Agemagazine on September 25.
