So, update yay! There are 7 volumes currently out (in Japanese obviously) with the latest one being released November 25, 2021. So series technically not dead.

guess we just gotta hope someone (else) does a fan translation, or compiles existing ones into PDF's.

I believe Icewraith or someone else already made the first volume into a pdf. All that's left is for someone to pick it up. It just that because its a light novel and doesn't have a web novel anymore, it harder for it to get picked up because the translator has to pay for the books unless someone decides to fund the whole translation or one of the major tl sites decides to do it.
