Right now it's have only 2 volumes even in Japanese. Not every author could produce even 1 LN volume per year, and some who can manage multiple works or volumes per year are more on the savage beast's side. Or have a good groundwork before even publishing their first volume. Some works even get axed without prior warnings. It's harsh business. Hope you find some other titles to relief your waiting ache.
If it helps there´s a web novel that goes beyond volume 2, i think it goes by the same name.
