Synopsis
The life of Ryoko Hayakawa, a hard-core otaku, came to an abrupt end the day before her 35th birthday, before she was reincarnated as a beautiful prince in a fantasy world. However, her dream-like royal life didn’t last long, as she soon uncovered the depths of politics and corruption of her kingdom. To protect the king and his people, Ryoko, reincarnated as Prince Herscherik, resolved to conquer the darkness within his country. The problem was, the prince had no physical strength or magical powers, and even his stunning looks were surpassed by every other member of the royal family. Still, the prince persevered, using the skills he acquired during his previous life—the experience of an office worker, Ryoko’s drive for change, and her otaku brain.

I like the characters in this, they all seems pretty realistic- some people lose and make the best of their situation and then accept where they are, some take advantage of whatever they can. The Protagonist can't just do whatever they want, plus it seems there is a main goal in sight, with a path to get there right now which excites me in how they will achieve that. It's got lots of "pretty boys" but it doesn't dwell on it too much.
Magic is a part of the world but Protagonist doesn't have any "Magic Within", and it doesn't really become an important thing, they say almost everyone has some, but there is only 3-4 instances it's even mentioned/used
Sight spoiler warning
There is a good twist in both volumes as well! A human like response to it with consequences even with a merciful protagonist. Being nice doesn't mean they're stupid.

So! An update on my review, in volume 3 they do focus more on the magic within and such, and develop more characters, as well as the world.
I do not, however, enjoy the religious commentary they throw in volume 3. I myself am a missionary at the moment (not the most obedient, but) and the complaint is one of the simplist "issues" with any "God" figure.
Regardless of my feelings on the issue, I feel that it was out of character for the MC.

Otherwise, I enjoyed volume 3-4 in all other respects. They tell good stories, and flesh out the world building.
