In Super Girl season 3 episode 1 we see Kara single handedly fighting bad guys leaving little or nothing for the cops to handle. At the end of episode 1 we see the appearance of a new character, who is also from kyrpton and was sent to earth just like Kara.

Psi (guest star Yael Grobglas), a thief with psychic powers, attacks National City. Able to immobilise people by tapping into their worst fears, Psi proves a formidable opponent for Supergirl. Meanwhile, James (Mcad Brooks) and Lena (Katie McGrath) are at an impasse, and Samantha starts her new job at L-Corp.
